WeGotYou.tech is a wholesale SIP phone service provider and IT partner. The engagement covered the whole brand from the inside out: the lettermark, the mascot, a full illustration library, the marketing surface that wraps around it, and the custom call-routing platform that actually moves the traffic.

The pitch the brand has to make is the one any wholesale telecom carrier has to make and almost none make well: when you’re in over your head, we got you. Everything we built — visual, written, and operational — had to read that way without ever saying it twice.

The work

• Logo and full brand system, including the 8Bit-the-Cat mascot that runs through every piece of customer-facing material
• Library of custom illustrations, hand-drawn and built as a continuous storyboard rather than a one-off mark — every scene puts 8Bit in a different IT-support situation so the brand can speak in pictures instead of just in copy
• Marketing site, collateral, and supporting design across the customer-facing surface
• Custom call-routing platform built around an open SIP stack (FreePBX / Grandstream) with a MariaDB-backed control plane, so routing decisions, rate plans, and customer provisioning all live in one operator-friendly system instead of a vendor portal

Illustration as a storyboard

The illustrations are the part of this project we’re proudest of, and they are 100% custom — drawn frame by frame, no AI, no stock, no clip library. Each one shows 8Bit handling a different slice of the IT day: networking, bug hunting, the 2am dumpster fire, the tin-foil-hat security audit, the post-incident nap at the keyboard. Played in sequence they form a storyboard of the job WeGotYou actually does, which is how a customer who has been through one of those nights recognizes themselves in the brand.

A wholesale SIP carrier could pose as a faceless network operator. The mascot and the storyboard are the opposite move: they make the operator visibly human (well, feline) without making the company sound small. Custom illustration costs more than a stock seat, and it shows in every place the brand lives.

Custom routing platform

Wholesale SIP isn’t a category that runs well on off-the-shelf SaaS. Carriers need routing tables, rate plans, per-customer provisioning, and an audit trail that survives a billing dispute six months later. The platform we built sits on top of FreePBX and Grandstream hardware, keeps state in MariaDB, and exposes the operational surface the WeGotYou team actually uses to onboard customers and shape traffic.

It is the unglamorous half of the engagement. It is also the half that turns a brand promise into something a customer can call at 2am and verify.

Why this one is on the list

Telecom is the category where the brand and the platform have to be the same product. A SIP carrier with a beautiful site and a brittle control plane is a complaint waiting to happen; a solid carrier with no brand can’t get on the buying shortlist. WeGotYou is the case where both came from the same place — the illustrator, the brand designer, the SIP engineer, and the person who answers the phone are not four different vendors.
